This is the SUPERLIFT 2.5 Inch suspension lift kit for a list of the 1976-1981, and 1982-1986 Jeep CJ5, CJ7 & CJ8 4WD based on the civilian version of the Willys military Jeep of World War II (CJ is the abbreviation for Civilian Jeep).

The Jeep CJ-7 featured a wheelbase 10 inches longer than that of the CJ-5 and lacked the CJ5’s trademark rear curve of the door cutouts. The CJ7 also made a chassis change to help improve vehicle handling and stability, the rear section of the chassis stepped out to allow the springs and shock absorbers to be mounted closer to the outside of the body. The CJ-8 (Scrambler) is a long wheel-base version of the CJ-7 with a removable half-cab, creating a small pick-up style box instead of utilizing a separate pickup bed.

This SUPERLIFT system is designed for the early generation of Jeep owners looking to gain ground clearance, wheel travel flexibility and to sit level.

Our Jeep Kit addresses all of your lift kit needs in terms of product quality, durability, craftsmanship, and price. It includes everything you need to lift your Jeep CJ5, CJ7 & CJ8 – no other parts are required.

Creates an awesome ride quality, handling characteristics and aligns to OEM specifications. The K714 geometry corrects front to rear factory rake delivering a level stance. Proper driveshaft angles are maintained; aligns with OEM specifications.

SUPERLIFT engineers develop these 2.5-inch lift Superlift leaf spring. Superlift leaf springs feature tapered leaf ends and bolt-style spring clips. The Superlift leaf spring line was developed to emphasize suspension travel and more compliant ride by decreasing spring rates. The Superlift springs offer the most responsive ride available without sacrificing durability and body roll characteristics.

The result is the best ride and handling characteristics of any 2.5-inch lift available. They’re pre-set to reduce fatigue in the steel, minimize settling and guarantee a consistent ride height. Shot-peened to increase tensile strength and allow maximum wheel travel without sacrificing the life of the springs. The rear springs have contoured degree-shims installed for driveshaft alignment.

Included in this system is a set of four (4) Superlift shocks absorbers. Superlift shock absorbers are designed to provide excellent ride quality, durability and longevity. They feature 10-stage, velocity-sensitive valving for maximum control on or off-road without sacrificing a comfortable ride. Shock resistance is continually adjusted, depending on the terrain and vehicle speed.

IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: The provided tire/wheel fitments are approximate. Actual dimensions of a given tire size can vary considerably from one brand to another. Manufacturers' wheel offset and backspacing measurement points are not always consistent. Backspacing greatly impacts tire-to-fender clearance when turning. Wheel width and backspacing influence whether the tires protrude past the fenders, and to what extent. Considering these important factors, we recommend that you fit-check your tire/wheel selection prior to purchasing.
